After numerous requests from our subscribers I am
pleased to announce that I have the privilege of reviewing the Messianic
Super group Kol Simcha.
Kol Simcha, Hebrew
for Sound for Joy, is a unique Messianic Jewish singing group who has
sung together for 28 years. Kol Simcha has shared its joy proclaiming
that Yeshua is Messiah throughout the United States, Canada,
Russia, Switzerland, France, Argentina, and Israel. Joe Finkelstein,
founder and group leader has massed an ensemble of the most talented
singers, anointed by the very spirit of God. There is much to say about
the very professional arrangements, along with the musically sound
performance within each song. Not only do we hear the words, but also
the very emotion of the message that each song delivers rings through
loud and clear. This super Messianic group has long been a favorite of
mine, and sure to be one of your favorites.
It has been a special blessing to have previously
reviewed the solo projects of several of Kol Simcha’s members on
www.messianicmusic,.com; Jan Rosenburg / “A Father’s Heart”,
Dave Winn of Shir Shalom / “New Every Morning”, and Faith
Yesner / “In His Grace.”
Without further adieu I would like to share my review
of what I believe to be one of the most awesome singing groups to have
ever come out of Messianic Music. From the “Let God Arise”
album I have chosen Hallelujah, a fantastic rendition of this
timeless Joel Chernoff song, and Shema Yisrael, based upon
the proclamation of the Shema, “Hear
Oh Israel, The Lord Our God Is One”, Deut.
6:4. Just giving a listen to these song samples, will leave you wanting
to hear much more.
From the “Shomer Yisrael” release, I
have chosen Roni Bat Tsion, by David and Lisa Loden, also www.messianicmusic.com
featured artists. This song proclaims us to rejoice in the Lord, and is
sung uniquely in Hebrew, Russian, French and English. What a universal
message, packed by the powerfully delivered song style of Kol Simcha!
The second song selection is entitled Not To Us, written
by team member, Kathy Shooster. This powerful song is based upon Psalm
115. As one of my favorite passages in scripture, Kol Simcha proclaims
“Not to us, not to us be glory, But to Your Name Most High…All
Praise and glory, Majesty and power!”
What an uplifting song! I believe that you will find this to be
so as well!
Please order your copy of each of these wonderful releases. By the
way, coming very soon to www.messianicmusic.com
will be Kol Simcha’s newest release. We will keep you posted.
