As the years go by, I become more and more amazed as to the anointed artists who bring forth their musical offerings. Kathy Shooster’s latest release, "Garment of Praise" – The Refuge of Worship, is one of the finest to come along that I can remember. This seasoned worshipper of the Lord has spent many years as one of the core members of the world renowned Messianic singing group Kol Simcha, and has brought forth this wonderfully produced CD as her fourth solo release.

Each song will draw you into high praise and worship as this masterful collection, produced by internationally known Margaret Becker, unfolds. Whether listening to the title song, "Garment of Praise", based upon Isaiah 61:3, the uplifting "You are My Praise", or the wonderfully stylized "Your Footsteps, Our Pathway", this CD is packed with the very center of Kathy’s heart and soul.

Kathy’s angelic voice beautifully resounds through the message of each song, and as you listen you will actually feel the emotion poured out to the Lord. From a quiet whisper to the fullness of Kathy’s melodious vocal style, this CD will bring you to His footstool. Every song is full of what is due to the Lord, and as you listen to Kathy’s musical offerings the message will ring clearly to all who listen. Some sing about the Lord, others like Kathy sing to the Lord. There is a difference.

I especially liked heavenly "Ashrey Ha-Ish", as well as the tenderly sung "Make Me Yours". As I listened to this exceptional release, I found myself closing my eyes and worshipping along with Kathy. This is the latest from Messianic recording icon Galilee of the Nations, and it stands as a fine example of excellence before the Lord. Two shofars up! Keep them coming Kathy!
