I have the blessing and honor
this month to review Philip Stanley Klein’s solo release," Hineni".
Hineni is Hebrew for "Here am I". Philip sent this release
for my review. I sat down and listened to it with my wife, and we found
ourselves wanting to listen again and again! This release has got to be
one of the most anointed Messianic albums to be released in recent
years. Philip is a gifted musician/songwriter and puts the true sense of
what it is to praise and worship The Lord into his music. Philip’s
obvious extensive musical training and years of playing professionally
is evident in each song on the release. He writes with a special unique
style that is not usually found in Messianic music.
The first music sample on my site
this month, is from the title track, "Hineni". Philip
tells of the true servant’s heart, and what we all should be striving
for. It all begins by believing, studying God’s word, and then
proceeding with the Lord’s great commission. I love the words of the
Chorus: Hineni; Hineni Adonai; Hineni Adonai is the servant’s
cry; Here I am, to serve the living God; Yeshua, Elohim, Adonai
echad.
The music is very uplifting,
along with a catching melody. You’ll find yourself singing the melody
after listening!
There are several other songs on
the release that I liked, I.E. "The Days Are Coming"
and "Shav’ua Tov", however my second pick for the
music sample this month is a song entitled " When I Worship
You." I sat and listened to this beautiful song, with tears in
my eyes. Philip sings about what life was like before coming to know
Yeshua, wasting years, seeking self-gain. But in coming to know
The Lord, life has a new meaning." And when I worship You, all
my fear is gone; everything is new when You and I are one; And when I
sing to You, the power of the Lord covers all that I do, when I worship
You."
As a worship leader, I found
myself identifying with this song, and I know that any believer
can as well. Is there anything greater than to worship the Lord? When
you purchase this release, listen to this song. It will give you holy
Goosebumps!
I highly recommend the purchase
of this album. You’ll be raving about it to family and friends.
Philip has told me that he is
presently working on his latest release, due out in the near future. I
plan on reviewing this release as soon as it becomes available. I can
tell you already, be prepared for another anointed album.
Biographical
Information
Philip was raised an orthodox
Jew, in Brooklyn, NY. His parents were both musical, and instilled the
same in their son. The years of training prepared Philip for appearances
with well known artists on the Ed Sullivan Show, Merv Griffin, and other
engagements. Philip tragically lost his wife in a car accident and soon
after, came to know the Lord in 1987. After coming to the Lord, Philip
started using his vast talent for God, and became involved in the
renowned Messianic group Nagila. His song "Lord of The
World", is sung in congregations all over the world. Philip has
traveled with Hear Oh Israel Ministries, including crusades in
Russia. He has also sung in Major conferences and congregations all over
the United States. Philip is ready to be used for The Lord at any time.
He truly lives the words of his song, " Hineni!" Lord
