Carolyn Margolin-Hyde came to faith while living in Mexico in 1981. She was just your average Jewish hippie-musician looking for truth when Messiah revealed Himself to her in a vision. However, because of her Orthodox upbringing, she was a secret believer for four years. In 1985, longing to hear the "Kol Nidre" at a Yom Kippur service, she found her way to a free service in a Messianic congregation and there discovered that she wasn't the only Jew in the world who believed in Yeshua!
She led worship at Beth Simcha Congregation in San Antonio, Texas, for 10 years and has served as Worship Chair for the UMJC, Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. She has written and recorded many worship songs in English and Hebrew and has recorded two CD's:
He Will Appear is full of worship songs that are used in many congregations.
Some of the Best of Carolyn Hyde is a compilation of the cassette "Song of Songs" and "Hear from Heaven."
Carolyn served as worship leader at K'tsir Asher, The Harvest of Asher, a new Messianic Congregation in Akko, until they moved to the Galilee where she now serves as a worship leader at Kehilat Poriya, another new congregation near Tiberias. Both congregations are part of the Tents of Mercy network of congregations in Northern Israel.
Richard and Carolyn are currently working on a new CD in Marc Chopinsky’s studio, recording many of the new worship songs that the L-rd has blessed us with in Hebrew.
