Bio Of Gloria Van DeCamp
Gloria grew up in a Christian home and
accepted Jesus/Yeshua at a very young age at a Billy Graham crusade.
Gloria started taking piano lessons in third grade and continued until
high school when she then took four years of organ lessons, also
learning how to compose songs. Gloria was also very active in
vocal singing groups while in elementary, high school and college.
Shortly after their daughter was born
in 1978, Gloria and her husband, Gary, were praying together and the
Lord spoke with an 'audible voice' to Gary and gave him Hebrew names for
their family. Also, speaking to Gloria to study all they could
about Israel and the biblical feasts. Over the next year (1979),
other prophetic words were received in prayer about their role in the
end times.
In the early 80's Gloria and Gary were
part of a contemporary Christian singing group, called
"Covenant". They ministered in churches and outdoor concerts.
Gloria and Gary have been involved in leading praise and worship for a
total of seventeen years: Two years in a Word of faith congregation,
Seven years at the Cancer Treatment Center of Tulsa’s Chapel service,
and eight years in Messianic congregations – the last 3 years at
Calvary Messianic Congregation in Tulsa where they currently lead praise
and worship and teach/lead their dance team.
Since the mid 90's the Lord poured into Gloria songs
of worship. When she resigned from nursing in 1999, Gloria had more time
to spend at the keyboard to compose music. Gloria and Gary had received
many requests from patients that Gloria cared for as a nurse and
ministered to during the chapel services for CDs of their music.
In addition, many friends encouraged them to put their music on
CDs. "The Last Song", "Let Your Healing Flow",
and "These are Your Feasts" are a result of their
encouragement.
