Natalie Isaacs

BIO

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another healing by the same Spirit." 1 Corinthians 12:8-9, KJV.

God blessed Natalie Isaacs with the gift of healing through her beautiful, warm angelic voice. As is the way with God to make straight a crooked path, such was Natalie’s journey to this ministry.
Natalie was raised listening to classical music, a favorite of her father's. When she was eight years old Natalie’s father took her to see the Broadway musical Carnival. “I’ll never forget it,” said Natalie. “It was glorious. That was the moment I knew that I wanted to sing and act in musicals.” She began voice lessons at the age of 14 resulting in being a classically trained lyric coloratura soprano.
Still, Natalie’s passion was Broadway musicals and she performed in productions in Boston, including the roles of Louisa in The Fantastics and Laurie in Oklahoma; and in New York, including the role of Gretel in the opera Hansel and Gretel and a number of Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas.
Raised in New York by a liberal, non-observant Jewish family, Natalie hungered for spirituality, desperately seeking a loving God and purpose for her life. Finding the Messiah in her 20’s saved Natalie through trying times.
She married and became the mother of two well-rounded beautiful children, daughter Nicole and son Jason. However, during these years she was misdiagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic and locked in a psychiatric ward. “I became ill when I was 27,” she said. “I couldn’t eat, or sleep and became emaciated, was hallucinating and I also had excruciating headaches.” When doctors and others gave up hope for her, she never lost faith and was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease. A casualty of the disease was her marriage, so coupled with the painful disease she also survived the heartbreak of divorce.
While in the psychiatric ward, Natalie experienced a phenomenon. “One day a friend came to the hospital and played the piano and I sang to the patients” she shared. “It was incredible that as sick as I was God used me there.” Natalie’s child-like quality and compassion for others breaks all barriers. Her enthusiasm and devotion is contagious. She brings with her insights in overcoming depression and humor from living a life of empathy for people suffering from emotional illness and loneliness and her testimony is powerful.
Natalie, who is currently living in Nashville, has appeared on TBN and the ACTS network. Her debut album, “What Heaven is to Me,” produced by Emmy winner, Cliff Downs, contains eleven faith-filled, beautiful songs chronicling her life and her faith.
