It is a blessing for me to
introduce www.messianicmusic.com‘s
latest Featured Artist, Jamie Ellen Schwartz. Jamie’s CD release,
"Where Can I Go From Your Spirit" is in my opinion one
of the most unique and anointed Messianic releases I have reviewed and
featured. I say this not only because of Jamie’s wonderful songwriting
style, but also because of her heart and soul being poured out in each
of her songs. This CD is packed full of worshipful offerings to the
Lord. Each song features an anointed, powerfully sung message mostly
based upon specific scriptures. Jamie’s trained voice is not only
powerful, but also full of a rich tonality that is not found in recorded
Messianic Music very often. Her voice rings in sweet tones, as you will
definitely notice when you listen to this wonderful CD.
I have many favorites on this CD, but I have chosen 3
songs to sample that will give you the desire to order a copy. Listen
for yourself. The first song sample is entitled, "Where Can I Go
From Your Spirit". Based upon Psalm 139, Jamie reminds us that
no matter what, the Lord is with us! No matter what life may bring, He
is there. This wonderfully produced selection will bring you into the
heart of worship, and exemplify the theme of this CD. A wonderful title
song!
The second song pick is entitled, "Remembering
Zion". This worshipful psalm put to song, compels us to
meditate upon remembering Jerusalem always. Jamie’s cries out to the
Lord, making you desire to seal Psalm 137 into your very being. At the
end of the song, Jamie offers an angelic reprise called "Worship
Interlude". You will find yourself with hand lifted high after
listening to this song.
My third choice to give to you as a sample, "
I’m So Grateful", is a simply put, but beautiful
exaltation to the Lord. One of the greatest blessings of life is to be a
child of God. Letting the Lord know how grateful we are should always be
in our hearts and expressed to the Lord. Great final song on this CD.
You will truly be blessed as you worship the Lord
along with Jamie. You will want to thank Jamie for her wonderful
offering unto the Lord!
BIOGRAPHY
Of Jamie Ellen Schwartz
Jamie was born in Chicago, and raised in a
traditional Jewish Family. She received here musical training in
college, in Florida. She sang in nightclubs and hotels, and performed in
dinner theaters. During her young adult years, Jamie found herself
involved in Drugs and alcohol abuse, and nearly died several times from
drug overdoses.
In 1981, Jamie met Yeshua through another Jewish
believer. God revealed Himself in a mighty way to Jamie, and the Lord
changed her heart in a dramatic fashion. The Lord brought her through a
new musical journey. She toured for seven months throughout the United
States as the female soloist for "The Spurrlows".
Jamie has appeared regularly for the past 18 years on
the nationally syndicated Messianic TV program, "Jewish
Jewels", as well as the local and national Trinity Broadcast
Network, and 100 Huntley Street, in Canada. She has ministered in many
congregations throughout the United States and Israel. Jamie has also
ministered in numerous conferences as well.
Jamie lives in the Ft Lauderdale, Florida area with
her husband Steve, and Rachel their daughter. |
